Summary: | Child trafficking for organ theft is Myanmar's worst unspoken problems in very poor areas. The child is first stolen, then murdered and the human organs then sold. This is a major billion dollar criminal activity with a child worth up to USD $100,000. This horrific tragedy affects over 50,000 families annually. This fund aims to aid the impoverished children of Myanmar through the provision of education and vocational training facilities, equipment and supplies so they become job ready. Our project is called "SCOT" - "Stop Child Organ Theft" |
Challenge: | This project aims to have the children be vocationally trained so they are employable and worthwhile members of their families and their communities. In this way the families are not preyed upon by the Child Traffickers. |
Solution: | Educating poorer families to be made aware of the "Child Traffickers" sly tactics. Children need vocational training for employment, we need to raise one million dollars to continue training and saving children's lives from trafficking. |
Long term impact: | Children suffer fear and terrible deaths.Families suffer trauma and loss of their children. Thru vocational training and employment children will gain self esteem and families will benefit long term. |
