| Summary: | This project aims to raise funds to provide thermo-coagulators, point of care HPV testing and other necessary clinical equipment to support the work of PINCC NGO preventing cervical cancer in underserved countries.
PINCC has just one mission: to create sustainable programs that prevent cervical cancer by educating women, training medical personnel, and equipping facilities in underserved countries, utilizing proven, low cost and efficient methods.
PINCC is entirely privately funded. Although based in the USA, PINCC now has three passionate Australian doctors involved in its mission, who are keen to support PINCC's mission and expand its reach in the Asia-Pacific region.

| Challenge: | Cervical cancer is almost 100% preventable. While Australia is on track to eliminate cervical cancer by 2035, it remains the fourth most common cancer in women worldwide, with around 350,000 deaths annually.
90 per cent of these deaths occur in low and middle income countries. The primary drivers of this disparity are lack of access to vaccination, early detection through screening by trained clinicians and accessible treatment programs.
Without early intervention, cervical dysplasia can progress silently to invasive cancer, robbing women of their health, livelihoods, and lives. The unnecessary deaths of these women have a ripple effect in vulnerable communities that is far reaching but has especially negative impacts on children. |
| Solution: | The WHO goal for global cervical cancer prevention is that all women are screened at least twice between 35 and 45 years of age. If a woman is screened once her risk of developing cervical cancer is halved. If she is screened twice, her risk plummets by ninety per cent!
PINCC is a small NGO with a big impact. In 2025 alone, PINCC teams screened 3025 women with HPV testing, treated 456 women with pre-cancerous lesions, trained 49 healthcare workers in screening and treatment procedures and donated 12 thermo-coagulation devices across nine sustainable clinics in five countries: Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, Bolivia, and India.

| Long term impact: | Access to thermo-coagulation has removed the major barrier to cervical cancer prevention. Previously, women who were found to have pre-cancerous lesions had to be referred to a city hospital for treatment. Costs, transport and family responsibilities were all barriers to receiving care. Now, they are treated immediately at no extra cost. The treatment takes less than a minute, requires no anaesthetic and is very well tolerated.
Sustainability is key to PINCC's work. In 2026 PINCC returned to Malawi and trained three of their 2025 trainees as PINCC trainers, building a lasting legacy. They then trained six more of their colleagues. Since May 2026, a further 77 women have been screened and 36 of those received life saving treatment. PINCC plans to repeat this model at other sites. |
