| Summary: | Little Blue Shed empowers women/girls/youth with various educational skills and employment opportunities for vulnerable individuals living in in Soroti District and surrounding villages - Eastern Uganda, Africa.
Little Blue Shed teaches a number of income generating skills as well as business management and budgeting. We also educate women on hygiene and sex education. The goals are to develop and empower a sustainable community. |
| Challenge: | Often females in developing countries are faced with countless adversaries the main challenge being poverty.
Many are forced into early marriages, prostitution, trafficking and other dangerous activities to survive. This is heartbreaking!
The major cause of this is desperation is lack of education and opportunities.
We have identified the root cause of exploitation and we are on a mission with others to eradicate the evils which tempts women into life threating lifestyles.
We believe that every female should be valued and protected no matter what part of the world she lives in. |

By providing a safe space for creating and learning we are able to discover potential possibly locked up for years!
