| Summary: | Western Victoria region has been severely impacted by drought conditions with farming land dry and baron and livestock feed running out fast. |
| Challenge: | Beside a lack of livestock feed and limited water supplies, the impact of the drought with the heartbreaking hardships the farming families themselves are facing as they watch their animals deteriorate. Financial hardships and ongoing mental health issues are often paramount. Some families themselves go without to ensure their livestock survive. |
| Solution: | This Rotary project intends to raise funds to support humanitarian relief projects for those impacted in the drought affected regions of Western Victoria. |
| Long term impact: | Future initiatives will also be the ongoing support to those impacted families so that they remain productive farmers. |
