| Summary: | To support dairy farmers in Northern NSW who were severely impacted by the recent flood events. The aim is to provide direct cash relief to farmers who have been identified as severely impacted. |
| Challenge: | Many farmers have lost most of their livestock and fodder and they now have to replace them to become viable dairy farmers again. |
| Solution: | Initial support is being provided by the Perich Group and the Moxey Group though the Rotary Australia Benevolent Society(RABS).
RABS will provide financial assistance to severely impacted farmers identified by Dairy Australia. |
| Long term impact: | The support delivered will ensure a viable dairy industry remains productive in Northern NSW for the foreseeable future. |
